Introduction
Rajasthan MBBS Counselling is conducted by RUHS Rajasthan University of Health Sciences , Jaipur for all the eligible candidates. Candidates who will qualify NEET exam will be eligible to participate for Rajasthan MBBS/BDS counselling 2025. NEET 2025 qualified candidates can participate in the Rajasthan NEET seat allotment process for admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ) and 85% State Quota seats offered by three medical colleges and one dental college.
There will be a total four round of counselling Round 1, Round 2 and mop- up round and stray vacant round for Rajasthan MBBS BDS admission 2025. Counselling round 1 and round 2 will be held in completely online mode. Mop -up round will also be going to be conduct in online mode as per the availability of the seats& Stray vacant round is being conducted by respective college depending upon seat availability. Students are required to prepare DD and come to the college with requisite documents.
In Rajasthan there are total 35 Medical Colleges along with 1 AIIMS (AIIMS Jodhpur) are approved by MCI and Participating in NEET Counselling. Out of these25 are Government Medical Colleges and 9 are private Medical Colleges. In Rajasthan total 5204 MBBS Seats are available excluding 1 AIIMS. Out of these, 2071 MBBS Seats are available in Government Medical Colleges,1652 MBBS Seats are available in Private Medical College, 1096 MBBS Seats for Management Quota in both pvt & govt medical colleges & 385 seats are available in govt colleges under NRI Quota.
Eligibility Criteria for State Domicile
Education Qualification: NEET 2025 is mandatory for admission in Rajasthan MBBS and BDS courses and candidates must have secured the NEET cut-off percentile set by CBSE. Other than this, the following are the eligibility requirements for admission:
Apart from passing 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% in class 12 board exams.
General candidates with physical disabilities will be required to score 45% marks in class 12, whereas reserved candidates with physical disabilities will be required to score an aggregate of 40%.
Nativity/ Domicile Holder: Candidates who are domicile holders of Rajathan can take admission under the 85% state quota seats. Students who fulfil either of the following criteria will be considered the domicile holders of Rajasthan state:
- Natural father/Mother of the candidate has continuously resided in Rajasthan for period of last 10 years and the candidate has studied for at least 5 years during this period in a recognized educational institution in Rajasthan, or
- Candidates all those who are bonafide residents of Rajasthan but are studying in other states will also be eligible for the allotment process, or
- The candidate is son/daughter of serving or retired, permanent employee of Govt. Undertaking / Corporation / Improvement Trust / Municipal Bodies / Council / Panchayat Samiti / Co-operative bodies, duly constituted by the Government of Rajasthan by an act of Law who has put in at least 3 years of service on the last date of submission of the on-line application form in the year of admission, or
- Candidate is a natural son/daughter of a Serving/Retired permanent employee of Indian Defense and the employee is of Rajasthan origin irrespective of his place of Provided that in case of Defense Personnel from Rajasthan origin, a certificate (certificate proforma – A) has to be submitted by them from the employer to the effect that his state of origin is Rajasthan at the time of his entry into service.
- Candidate is a natural son/daughter of a Serving permanent employee of Indian Defense and the employee is posted in Rajasthan (certificate proforma – B) at the time of last date of submission of the on- line application form for admission , or.
- Candidate is a son/daughter of a Judge of Rajasthan High Court subject to the condition that he/she submits an undertaking/affidavit stating that such benefit is not being claimed or availed by them in any other State, or
Nationality: All candidates applying for Rajasthan MBBS and BDS courses available at state- based colleges must be citizens of India.
Age: Candidates seeking admission in Rajasthan medical colleges must be at least 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2024. Only those candidates who fulfil this requirement will be eligible for Rajasthan MBBS and BDS admissions.
Registration Process
- Online registration permissible on https ://rajugneet.gov.in
- Candidate may complete their registration by using their NEET UG-2025 Application and Roll No. They need to follow the instructions on the portal.
- Candidate needs to make payment of non-refundable Registration fee of 2,000/ (valid for both for 1st & 2nd Round counselling).
- Candidate not registered for 1st round counselling may appear in 2nd round counselling by depositing non-refundable Registration fee of Rs. 2,000/
- For Mop-up round every candidate (if eligible) needs to get registered by depositing the non-refundable Registration fee of Rs. 1,000.
SECURITY AMOUNT (for MBBS/BDS course)
Before choice filling stage, candidates participating for Medical/Dental seats will have to pay refundable security amount as under:
Rs. 10,000/- for UR/EWS candidates or Rs. 5,000/- for SC/ST/ST-STA/OBC/MBC candidates opting for MBBS/BDS course in Government Medical / Dental Colleges, Govt. Society Medical Colleges, RUHS CMS, RUHS CDS, ESIC MC and in Geetanjali Medical College Govt. seat (10 seats) .
Rs. 5,00,000/- for candidate opting for MBBS course in Private Medical colleges . Rs. 10,000/- for candidate opting for BDS course in Private Dental colleges . [Candidates depositing Rs. 5,00,000/- will automatically be eligible to fill choices for
Government Medical / Dental Colleges, Govt. Society Medical Colleges, RUHS CMS, RUHS CDS, ESIC MC and in Geetanjali Medical College Govt. seat (10 seats) and Private.
Eligibility for NRI Candidates
Government of Rajasthan, following will be the guidelines applicable for the admission in Under Graduate/Post Graduate, Medical/Dental courses under NRI quota in all Government, Govt. Society institutions and RUHS CMS of the State:
- At least one of the parents of students should be an NRI and shall ordinarily be residing abroad as an NRI; or.
- The person who sponsors the student for admission should be a first degree relative of the student (i.e. real Brother / real Sister) and should be ordinarily residing abroad as an NRI; or
- If student is taken as a ward by some other nearest relative [as mentioned below (i) to (v)] such students also may be considered for admission provided the guardian has bonafidely treated the student as a ward. For this following nearest relative (NRI) of candidate, who should be ordinarily residing abroad as an NRI can only be considered:
Real brother and sister of father e. real uncle and real aunt. - Real brother and sister of mother e. real maternal uncle and maternal aunt.
- Father and mother of father e. grandfather and grandmother.
- Father and mother of mother e. maternal grandfather and maternal grandmother.
- First degree-paternal and maternal cousins
- All NRI Candidate shall submit a proof being sponsor as NRI/OCI/PIO in the form of certificate issued by the Indian embassy/Ministry of external affairs, Government of India for this In the absence of that certificate a duly notarized undertaking executed by the sponsor and notarized by the Notary Public of the foreign country where the sponsor resides being submitted by the sponsor, it be treated as sufficient as to the factum of the residence of the sponsor.
- An affidavit from the sponsor that he/she looks after such student and will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate.
Step by Step Counselling Process
Rajasthan MBBS and BDS application 2025 can be filled online if aspirants seek admission to the state’s medical colleges. See the steps below in order to apply:
- Registration: In order to register for Rajasthan MBBS admission 2025 will have to provide their contact details and NEET 2025 details in order to Candidates will also have to agree to the terms and conditions of Rajasthan MBBS and BDS admissions in order to register for, state merit list, choice filling, locking and counselling process 2025.
- Application Procedure : Candidate should be very careful in filling-up the on-line application form and must ensure fulfilment of the eligibility criteria etc. at the level of concerned College/University. If at any stage he/she is found non-eligible for admission to the allotted course, his/her candidature is subject to rejection even if he/she comes through the final stage of admission process or even at a later stage
- Choice Filling: The guidelines and requirements for choice filling will be available with publication of seat matrix. Candidates must fill their choices, very carefully, based on the seat matrix and corresponding fee If a candidate does not submit his/her choice till the specified date and time, he/she will lose chance of participation in the on-line allotment process. The choices are required to be filled very carefully as the choices filled shall be final for on-line allotments.
- Seat Allotment Result: On the basis of choices filled, availability of seats, state merit rank, seat reservation the seats will be allotted to candidates for the Rajasthan MBBS 2025
- Document Verification: The allotment of seat to a candidate shall remain provisional till verification of original documents, eligibility and fulfilment of medical fitness criteria, at the allotted college.
- Reporting to the college: Candidates are required to report at the designated colleges within the required date and timings for granting the Rajasthan MBBS 2025 admission. admission.
Bond Proforma
At the time of reporting for the admission to various Rajasthan MBBS BDS medical colleges candidates are required to full -fill and submit a bond as it is mentioned below according to their applicability.
Dental Colleges: For Rajasthan MBBS 2025 admission, applicants who are allotted seats in the government dental colleges will have to submit a bond of Rs. 4.0 lakhs (Rupees four lakhs) in favour of Principal of their designated college along with the bank guarantee of Rs.
1.00 lakh, if the candidate wants to leave the course after second round of the Rajasthan MBBS 2025 counselling, they must note that the Bank Guarantee and Bond will be sized by the college.
Medical College: The applicants allotted seats in a Government Medical College will have to submit a bond of Rs. 5.0 lakhs (Rupees five lakhs) and also sign a commitment to serve the State Government for 2 years of designated period. If the candidate will leave the course after the second round of the Rajasthan MBBS counselling due to any reason, then also the bond of Rs. 5.0 lakhs (Rupees five lakhs) will be sized by authorities from such applicants.
NRI Candidate: The candidates selected against NRI seat in above medical colleges will have to submit an additional bond for fees of the remaining period for depositing on a regular basis. In case he/she leaves the MBBS course before its completion, fees of all remaining semesters of the course shall be payable by him/her.
