Introduction
Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh is the conducting body for MP MBBS 2025 counselling for 85% state quota. Madhya Pradesh NEET Merit List for state quota seats is prepared by DME for domicile candidates who qualified NEET 2025 and registered for admissions on its official website. MP Counselling will be conducted online in three rounds (including mop- up round) depending on the seat availability for admissions to all state government, private colleges.
There will be a total of three round of counselling Round 1, Round 2 and mop- up round for Madhya Pradesh MBBS BDS admission 2025.The registrations for the first round of counselling of MP MBBS will begin in the third week of June 2025 .The counselling of MP MBBS/BDS 2025 will be done in online mode from filling of choices.MP MBBS counselling 2024 is conducted for filling the 85% State Quota seats which includes 4475 MBBS and 1320 BDS seats in colleges of the state. After the publishing of seat matrix, the process of MP MBBS 2025 counselling starts.
Eligibility Criteria for State Domicile
Education Qualification: NEET 2025 is mandatory for admission in Madhya Pradesh MBBS and BDS courses and candidates must have secured the NEET cut-off percentile set by CBSE. Other than this, the following are the eligibility requirements for admission:
Apart from passing 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% in class 12 board exams.
General candidates with physical disabilities will be required to score 45% marks in class 12, whereas reserved candidates with physical disabilities will be required to score an aggregate of 40%.
Nativity/ Domicile Holder: Candidates who are domicile holders of Madhya Pradesh can take admission under the 85% state quota seats. Students who fulfil either of the following criteria will be considered the domicile holders of UP state:
- Candidates whose father is a resident of MP and they themselves are natives of the
- Candidates whose parent/s have lived/ living in the state of Madhya Pradesh for three or more years.
- Candidates whose parent/s are working with the Government of
- Candidates who are residing in a foreign nation but have direct ancestors/ forefathers who were residents of Madhya Pradesh.
- Candidates who have passed class 10 and 12 from Madhya Pradesh will also be eligible under this quota and need not show residency proof.
- Candidates who have passed either class 10 or class 12 from MP will need to provide proof that either of their parents a is resident of MP.
- Candidates who have passed neither of class 10 or class 12 from Madhya Pradesh must qualify either of the first four criteria.
Nationality: All candidates applying for Madhya Pradesh MBBS and BDS courses available at state-based colleges must be citizens of India.
Age: Candidates seeking admission in Madhya Pradesh medical colleges must be at least 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2023. Only those candidates who fulfil this requirement will be eligible for Madhya Pradesh MBBS and BDS admissions.
Essential Documents for Admission
- Matriculation/High School Certificate (10th) or its equivalent certificate as proof of date of birth.
- 10+2/Intermediate/Senior Secondary School Examination Certificate & Detailed Marks Sheet.
- Character Certificate issued by the school/institute last attended.
- Resident Certificate issued by competent authority of the State Government (if applicable).
- Certificate of Bonafide Resident issued by competent authority of the State Government (if applicable).
- Caste Certificate issued by competent authority of the State Government (if applicable).
- Certificate of Disability with respect to Benchmark Disabilities issue by Notified Centres notified by NTA or Disability Certificate issued by Medical Board at PGIMS Rohtak.
- Certificate of Dependent of Freedom Fighters issued by competent authority of the State Government (if applicable).
- Certificate of ESM issued by competent authority of the State Government (if applicable).
- Income Certificate (for BC Category students) issued by competent authority as per State Government Notification.
- Income and Asset certificate for EWS Category Candidates.
- Affidavit to show Minority status.
- Print out of Online Application form.
- Provisional Allotment letter.
- Proof of identification Aadhaar card / PAN Card / Driving license /Passport / Voter ID/Ration Card/ any other (any two).
- Four passport size photographs against white background (preferably the photograph used in NEET form).
- Any other Document as required by Counseling Committee.
Step by Step Counselling Process
For Madhya Pradesh MBBS & BDS Counseling 2025 candidate need to follow the following step for the counseling process:
- Candidates needs to complete online registration process for Madhya Pradesh MBBS and BDS admissions counselling details as mentioned in the NEET 2025 application form and admit cards. Candidates will also have to agree to the terms and conditions of Madhya Pradesh MBBS and BDS admissions in order to register for, state merit list, online document verification process & counselling process 2025.
- Candidates will have to provide personal details, academic details, and security questions in order to submit and start the procedure. It is advised to enter the details carefully, as the allotment and other communications will be done through this information. Thereafter, they have to create a password following the instructions mentioned by the authority. Once the password and other details are done, click on submit button to proceed. After the registration process, the password of Madhya Pradesh MBBS counselling 2025 will be sent to the registered email ID, which must be preserved for future logins. In order to login, candidates have to enter their NEET roll number and password and the link for the same will be provided when available.
- Candidates need to pay the online registration fees along with security money & need to do the online document verification with Class 10TH & Class 12TH marksheet, Domicile certificate, Category certificate.
- After Completing the registration MP DME Bhopal state authority will release the state merit list which includes the candidates roll number along with their merit rank.
- Candidate needs to complete online choice filling after depositing the security money.
- Choice filling will not be complete, till the candidate finally lock their choices within the scheduled time.
- On the basis of choices filled, availability of seats, state merit rank, seat reservation the seats will be allotted to candidates for the Madhya Pradesh MBBS admission 2024.
