*OBC-NCL (Other Backward Classes)-NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) as per the Central List of Other Backward
Classes available on the National Commission for Backward Classes. The candidates falling in this list
(available on http://www.ncbc.nic.in/) may mention OBC-NCL in the Category Column.
State-listed OBC-NCL Candidates who are NOT in OBC-NCL (Central List) must choose General.
- Candidates can apply for NEET (UG) – 2024 through the “Online” mode only on the
website https://exams.nta.ac.in/NEET. - Submission of the Online Application Form may be done by accessing the NTA website
https://exams.nta.ac.in/NEET. The Application Form in any other mode will not be
accepted. - Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate.
- Candidates must strictly follow the instructions given in the Information Bulletin and on the
NTA website. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily
disqualified. - Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and Mobile Number provided in the Online
Application Form are their own and/or Parents/Guardians only as all information/
communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address or SMS on the registered Mobile Number only. NTA will NOT be responsible for any
incorrect credentials. - Instructions for filling Online Application Form:

3.1 Syllabus of the Test
NMC (National Medical Commission) has notified the syllabus of NEET (UG) – 2024.
The Question Paper will be based on the given syllabus (Appendix-III) which is available
on the NMC website (https://www.nmc.org.in/neet/neet-ug). Furthermore, to
rationalize the decision of reduction in the syllabus by various School Education
Boards, the NTA has taken a decision to provide choice in Section “B” for each of
the 4 (four) Subjects.
3.2 Pattern of the Test
The Test pattern of NEET (UG) – 2024 comprises four Subjects. Each subject will consist
of two sections. Section A will consist of 35 Questions and Section B will have 15
Questions, out of these 15 Questions, candidates can choose to attempt any 10 Questions.
So, the total number of questions and utilization of time will remain the same.
The pattern for the NEET (UG) – 2024 Examination for admission in the Session 2024-25
is as follows:
