KARANATKA MBBS COUNSELING

Karnataka NEET Counselling 2025 is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for admission to medical and dental courses in prestigious and prominent medical and dental colleges of Karnataka State.  The counselling conducting authority has announced the provisional allotment result on its official website (http://kea.kar.nic.in). With over 70 medical colleges and 48 dental colleges, the Karnataka NEET Counselling offers over 18308 and 2180  medical and dental seats simultaneously. Karnataka Examinations Authority as the counselling conducting authority for the NEET counselling ensures that counselling is a fair and transparent approach to the admission process while regulating various aspects such as eligibility criteria, rounds of counselling curriculum etc.

The counselling will be held in four consecutive rounds namely Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round and Stray Vacancy Round which will be Optional in case any vacant seats are remaining. Counselling follows the typical approach toward the steps such as Registration, Choice filling and Locking, Merit list, Rounds of Counselling, Seat allotment, Document verification and Reporting to Colleges. The counselling schedule has already been released on Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) website and admission will be based on NEET 2024 Exam Result rank. The Karnataka Exam Authority is responsible for 85 % of medical and dental seat admissions while the medical counselling committee does counselling for the 15% of medical and dental seat admissions through the All India Quota (AIQ). Karnataka NEET Counselling 2024 choice entry date for the first round is extended until September 4, 2024, before 12:00 noon. Visit the KEA website for more details.
