Operated by the East West Medical Education Trust, the college is affiliated with the West Bengal University of Health Sciences and recognized by the National Medical Commission. It offers the MBBS course with 150 seats annually. The modern campus includes lecture auditoriums, dissection halls, simulation and demonstration labs, a central library, and gender-segregated hostels. About the Hospital

The attached teaching hospital is a 600-bed multi-specialty facility that serves Bardhaman and nearby regions. Clinical departments include General Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Orthopedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Psychiatry, and Community and Emergency Medicine. The hospital houses intensive care units, radiology and pathology labs, modular operation theatres, and a 24/7 emergency ward. Medical students gain continuous hands-on experience through ward duties, outpatient clinics, and rural health outreach under expert supervision, ensuring a seamless blend of academic and clinical learning.
