Government Medical College (GMC), Hingoli started in 2024 to improve healthcare education in the Marathwada region. It is affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The college focuses on quality training and modern facilities, helping students grow as skilled and ethical doctors.
About the Hospital
The college is linked to the District Civil Hospital, Hingoli. This hospital has 430 beds and covers major medical departments such as surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics, orthopedics, radiology, and emergency care. Students receive direct clinical exposure and work on real cases, which improves their practical skills and confidence.
Principal’s Message
Dr. Shrichakradhar Mungal, Professor and Dean of Physiology, leads the college. The administration works to build a strong academic base and improve healthcare services. It aims to create medical professionals who care deeply about patient needs and community health.
Seats in College
GMC Hingoli admits 100 students every year in its MBBS program. Currently, the college focuses only on undergraduate education but plans to add postgraduate courses soon.
