Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Nagpur, started in 1947, stands among Maharashtra’s oldest and most reputed medical institutions. Located in Ajni, South Nagpur, it has affiliation with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik, and recognition from the National Medical Commission (NMC). The campus spreads over 196 acres, offering one of the largest academic and clinical setups in Asia. About The Hospital
GMCH Nagpur operates a teaching hospital with more than 1800 beds, including a dedicated Super Specialty Hospital and Trauma Care Centre. GMCH Nagpur offers an MBBS program with an annual intake of 250 students. It also provides MD/MS postgraduate programs across 21 specialties with 197 seats, along with super-specialty programs (DM/M.Ch) and paramedical diploma courses.
