About the Hospital

HIMSR links directly with Hakeem Abdul Hameed Centenary Hospital, a 470-bed facility that serves as its teaching hospital. This hospital handles high patient volumes across all major specialties—Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, ENT, Orthopedics, and Dermatology. Likewise, it offers 24/7 emergency and critical care services, ensuring that students receive comprehensive clinical experience every day.

Most importantly, the institute pushes students to grow beyond academics by supporting innovation, community outreach, and a lifelong commitment to learning. HIMSR’s academic culture inspires students to serve with integrity and responsibility.

MBBS Seats in College

HIMSR offers 150 MBBS seats every year. The seats fall under three categories: General (Management) Quota, Muslim Minority Quota, and NRI Quota. All seats are filled strictly through NEET-UG, followed by centralized counseling by DGHS. As a result, the process maintains fairness and transparency in every admission cycle.

Hamdard Institute Medical College aims to deliver affordable, high-quality medical education while providing excellent healthcare. In addition, its mission includes shaping future leaders in medicine with a focus on research and public service. The vision is to grow into a globally respected institution that combines scientific expertise with human-centered care.

HIMSR charges an annual MBBS tuition fee of ₹16,00,000 under the private quota. For NRI candidates, the annual fee stands at $28,000. Separate charges apply for hostel accommodation and other campus facilities. Even so, the institute remains a preferred choice for its academic rigor and clinical training.
