About the College
Karpagam Faculty of Medical Sciences & Research began in 2012 at Othakalmandapam, Coimbatore, under Karpagam Academy of Higher Education. Karpagam Medical College The institution holds approval from the National Medical Commission and is affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. It operates as a Telugu linguistic minority institution and offers a full-time MBBS course spanning 5.5 years. Spread across a 28-acre campus, the college features digital classrooms, modern labs, student hostels, and Wi-Fi-enabled learning spaces designed to enhance academic engagement and professional development.
About the Hospital
The Karpagam Medical College campus includes a multi-specialty teaching hospital with over 650 functioning beds. Students undergo clinical training in general medicine, surgery, orthopedics, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, cardiology, and other disciplines. The hospital includes modern ICUs, modular operation theatres, diagnostic labs, a blood bank, and a round-the-clock emergency and trauma unit. The hands-on training strengthens students’ diagnostic and treatment abilities by exposing them to diverse patient cases in real-time.

Seats in College
Karpagam offers 150 MBBS seats each year. The college reserves a portion of these seats for Telugu linguistic minority candidates. Students receive admission through NEET UG and participate in centralized counseling organized by the Directorate of Medical Education, Tamil Nadu.

Fee Structure
