KMCH Institute of Health Sciences & Research launched in 2019 under the affiliation of The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. Located in Coimbatore, the college spans a 60-acre campus and delivers a digitally enhanced, research-oriented academic environment. The infrastructure includes six air-conditioned lecture halls, demonstration rooms, advanced laboratories, and a digital library holding over 5,300 medical texts. About the Hospital
The attached KMCH Medical College Hospital operates with around 600 beds and offers clinical support through its larger parent hospital setup. Departments such as general medicine, general surgery, pediatrics, orthopedics, and obstetrics & gynecology form the training backbone. Students participate in inpatient and outpatient care, emergency services, ICU rounds, and case-based learning. This high-volume hospital setup allows students to handle diverse clinical cases and develop hands-on confidence.
