About the College

Mahatma Gandhi Missions Medical College in Aurangabad began operations in 1990 under the Mahatma Gandhi Mission Trust. It functions as part of the MGM Institute of Health Sciences, a deemed university, and maintains academic connections with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University and Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. The campus spreads across 25 acres in CIDCO, Aurangabad. The college runs a competency-based MBBS curriculum recognized by the National Medical Commission. It admits 150 MBBS students every year through NEET UG counselling under state, institutional, and NRI quotas. It also offers over 90 postgraduate seats in MD, MS, diploma, and select super-specialty disciplines. Students study in well-equipped labs, digital lecture halls, a central library, and academic blocks that support both undergraduate and postgraduate learning.

About the Hospital

MGM Medical Hospital operates next to the college and runs 640 to 700 teaching beds. It delivers tertiary healthcare services across general medicine, general surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, ENT, ophthalmology, and super specialties like cardiology and neurosurgery. The facility includes specialized ICUs—MICU, SICU, NICU, PICU—along with trauma care, burn wards, modular operation theatres, NABL-accredited diagnostic labs, a 24×7 blood bank, CT/MRI, and emergency services. The hospital records more than 1,000 daily OPD visits, which helps MBBS students build clinical experience early in their education.

Seats in College

The MBBS program offers 150 seats per year, filled through NEET UG. Seat allotment includes state quota, institutional quota, and NRI category seats. The college also provides 91 postgraduate seats across MD, MS, and diploma specialties. Admissions for postgraduate courses follow NEET PG and institutional procedures.

The total estimated cost for the MBBS course runs between ₹95–105 lakh, depending on quota and yearly increments.
