Mahatma Gandhi Missions Medical College, Navi Mumbai, was established in 1989 by the Mahatma Gandhi Mission Trust and functions as a constituent of MGM Institute of Health Sciences, a deemed university since 2006. The institution holds recognition from the National Medical Commission and follows a competency-based MBBS curriculum. It admits 150 students each year through NEET UG, with allocations across state quota, institutional quota, and NRI quota. About the Hospital
MGM Hospital, the attached tertiary care teaching hospital, operates with nearly 900 beds. It offers complete healthcare services including adult ICU, PICU, NICU, 24×7 trauma and emergency units, modular operation theatres, NABL-accredited diagnostic labs, and a fully equipped radiology department with CT, MRI, and cath lab facilities. The hospital also features dialysis services, a licensed blood bank, and specialized units in neurology and cardiology. With an average of 1,000 outpatient visits and a strong inpatient load daily, the hospital ensures students gain real-time clinical exposure from the early stages of their medical education.

Super-specialty education includes 3 seats across DM and M.Ch disciplines, providing advanced training in select high-demand fields.

Annual mess charges stand at ₹1.26 lakh, and students must also pay a security deposit. Postgraduate fees vary by specialty, with tuition ranging from ₹5 lakh to ₹15 lakh per year depending on the quota and program.
