The Gokula Education Foundation established MS Ramaiah Medical College (MSRMC) in 1979 in Bangalore, Karnataka. The college operates under the affiliation of Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) and holds recognition from the National Medical Commission (NMC). MSRMC offers a wide range of medical programs, including MBBS, MD/MS, and super-specialty courses like DM/MCh. About the Hospital
MS Ramaiah Memorial Hospital, attached to the college, runs as a 1,284-bed tertiary care facility. This hospital delivers care across multiple specialties, such as Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, ENT, Orthopedics, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Preventive Medicine, and Forensic Services. Students regularly take part in patient rounds, surgical procedures, and specialty clinics, which enhances their clinical expertise. MBBS Seats in College
MS Ramaiah Medical College offers 150 MBBS seats. The distribution is:
- 60 seats under the Government quota
- 60 seats under the Private quota
- 30 seats under the NRI/OCI quota
Students gain admission based on NEET-UG performance. The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) conducts centralized counseling for seat allotment. Therefore, students must participate in all counseling rounds to improve their chances of securing a seat.
