Parbhani Medical College (PMC Parbhani) began its journey in 2023 under Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. The college operates as a private medical institution alongside the RP Hospital & Research Institute. Students follow the competency based MBBS curriculum and receive admission based on NEET UG scores. Each year, the college admits 150 students across state, institutional, and NRI quotas. The academic campus includes structured learning environments such as lecture halls, departmental labs, a central library, digital classrooms, and separate hostels for boys and girls. PMC Parbhani aims to deliver modern medical education while addressing regional healthcare gaps.
About the Hospital
RP Hospital & Research Institute, the college’s affiliated hospital, runs about 300 beds. The hospital delivers services in general medicine, surgery, pediatrics, OBG, orthopedics, ENT, ophthalmology, ICU care, trauma, and emergency medicine. It includes diagnostic labs, a blood bank, and patient monitoring systems that align with modern clinical needs. Students gain early clinical exposure by engaging in both rural and urban outreach programs and health camps. Hospital staff ensures students learn bedside skills, clinical judgment, and community-centered care from the initial phase of training.
