About the College

Rural Medical College, Loni—also known as PIMS Loni—started in 1984 under Pravara Rural Education Society. It operates as a constituent college of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, a deemed-to-be university since 2003. The college follows a competency-based MBBS curriculum and admits 200 students every year through NEET-UG via MCC counselling. Of these, 170 seats fall under the deemed management quota and 30 under the NRI quota. The 120-acre campus includes advanced academic blocks, digital lecture theatres, dissection halls, simulation labs, and a central library. The institution also offers postgraduate MD/MS/diploma courses and various allied health programs, with approximately 500 seats available for postgraduate study across specialties.

About the Hospital

The attached teaching hospital supports clinical training with 1,275 functional beds. It covers all major medical and surgical disciplines and offers services through specialized ICUs, emergency trauma units, modular operation theatres, NABL-accredited diagnostic labs, and advanced radiology including CT and MRI. The facility operates dialysis centers, a 24×7 blood bank, and community-based health initiatives. The hospital serves more than 2,000 OPD and IPD patients daily, offering students consistent, high-quality clinical exposure from the early years of MBBS.

Seats in College

The MBBS program admits 200 students annually through NEET-UG. The allotment includes 170 seats under deemed management and 30 seats under the NRI category. The college also provides more than 500 seats for postgraduate programs in medicine, surgery, pediatrics, anatomy, and radiology. Postgraduate admission follows NEET-PG and MCC counselling norms.

The college charges ₹95,000 annually for hostel and mess, along with a one-time security deposit. After three years, tuition increases by approximately 15 percent. Total course cost for management quota students reaches about ₹78–79 lakh over 5.5 years.
