About the College
Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (SMSIMSR) began in 2023 in Chikkaballapur, Karnataka. It is affiliated with Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). SMSIMSR is the first medical college in India that offers completely free education and accommodation to all NEET-qualified students. The college provides value-based learning centered on compassion, love, and service to humanity.
About the Hospital
SMSIMSR is linked to two teaching hospitals. These hospitals cover a wide range of medical specialties such as Surgery, Medicine, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Dermatology, ENT, Ophthalmology, and more. They include preventive medicine and forensic post-mortem training. The hospitals serve urban and rural communities, giving students practical experience through direct patient care.
