Established in 1992 under the Shri Tegginamath Arts & Educational (T.M.A.E.) Courses Offered
The college offers a comprehensive BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery) program, spanning 5.5 years (including a 1-year clinical internship), aligned with NCISM and RGUHS standards.
Admission Process & Eligibility
- Seat Intake: 60 BAMS seats are sanctioned by NCISM.
- Seat Distribution:
- 15% All India Quota, via AYUSH Central Counselling
- State Quota through Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA)
- Management Quota, filling remaining seats.
- NEET-UG qualification is mandatory. Eligibility requires completion of 10+2 (PUC) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, with minimum aggregate percentages (50% general; 40% SC/ST for Karnataka students). Out-of-state candidates must obtain an eligibility certificate from RGUHS.
