The Government District Hospital in Eluru acts as the attached teaching hospital for GMC Eluru. Operated by A.P. Vaidya Vidhana Parishad, the hospital has expanded to around 400 beds from its previous capacity of 330. It provides both secondary and tertiary care services across essential departments such as General Medicine, General Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Orthopedics, ENT, Psychiatry, Radiology, Pathology, and Emergency Medicine.
Medical students participate in daily clinical rotations through OPDs, IPDs, diagnostic labs, and emergency care services under supervision. University. All reservation policies apply as per government guidelines.
