Shrimant Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Medical College & Hospital, Shivpuri, established in 2018, focuses on improving medical education and healthcare access in Madhya Pradesh. Commonly known as GMC Shivpuri, it is affiliated with the Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University, Jabalpur, and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

About the Hospital
The teaching hospital, Shrimant Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Memorial Hospital, serves as a major healthcare hub in the region. It houses 300 to 560 beds and provides emergency and trauma care, outpatient and inpatient services, and super-specialty treatments. Facilities include ICUs, ICCU, SICU, SNCU, PICU, a dialysis unit, diagnostic services, and an advanced blood bank. The hospital supports extensive clinical training and practical exposure, shaping students into skilled healthcare professionals.

Seats in College
GMC Shivpuri admits 100 MBBS students each year. It also offers paramedical programs, including Bachelor in Medical Lab Technician (BMLT) with 50 seats and various diploma courses with 75 seats. The college has initiated postgraduate courses in subjects such as MD Physiology, MD Community Medicine, MS Orthopaedics, MD Pathology, and MD Pharmacology, marking its progression toward advanced medical training.
