NRI Medical College, also known as the NRI Academy of Medical Sciences, began in 2003 and operates under a trust in Chinna Kakani near Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. It is affiliated with Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, and holds recognition from the National Medical Commission (NMC). The institution aims to deliver modern medical education while improving access to quality healthcare. About the Hospital
The attached NRI General Hospital began with 300 beds and has expanded to over 1,058 teaching beds. It covers 20 clinical specialties and 8 super-specialties. The hospital includes 24-hour emergency care, ICUs, modular operation theatres, and diagnostic labs with CT and MRI capabilities. Facilities also include a pharmacy and an in-house blood bank. Medical students rotate through core departments such as general medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, ENT, ophthalmology, dermatology, psychiatry, and orthopedics, gaining hands-on clinical experience from early in the course.

MBBS Seats in College
