indian institute of medical science and research jalna began in 2013 under the Jamia Islamia Ishaatul Uloom Trust. This rural-based private medical college sits along the Jalna–Aurangabad highway and serves as Maharashtra’s first Muslim minority institution offering the MBBS program. The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik, grants affiliation, and the National Medical Commission recognizes the college.
The 25-acre campus in Badnapur provides a peaceful academic environment with smart classrooms, digital labs, clinical skill centers, and a central library. Faculty members teach the modern competency-based curriculum through a mix of classroom training, early clinical exposure, and community health programs. About the Hospital
Noor Hospital, located on the same campus, operates as the teaching hospital with 700 beds. It delivers comprehensive care in specialties including general medicine, surgery, pediatrics, OBGY, dermatology, psychiatry, orthopedics, ENT, and ophthalmology. The hospital features ICUs, NICU, modular OTs, trauma care, a 24×7 blood bank, radiology services with CT and MRI, and NABL-compliant labs.
The hospital serves nearby rural and semi-urban regions, ensuring robust clinical exposure for students through a consistent patient flow. Students participate actively in OPD, IPD, and emergency duties, enhancing their real-world learning. The institution also runs health awareness campaigns and outreach clinics in underserved areas.

Management and NRI quota students pay ₹33,68,185 annually. Students also pay a development fee equal to 10% of their respective tuition fee.
Other costs include a one-time university registration and eligibility fee between ₹10,500 and ₹90,850 depending on the category. Hostel and mess expenses total around ₹1.5 lakh per year. The complete MBBS cost varies based on quota type and chosen accommodations.
