About the College

Mahaveer Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (MIMS&R) started in 2020 under Jain Sarvodaya Vidya Gyanpith Samiti, a charitable trust. The college operates in Bhopal on a 40-acre campus next to the IT Park and maintains affiliation with Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University, Jabalpur.

Recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC), the college runs a 5.5-year MBBS program, which includes a one-year mandatory internship. MIMS&R delivers medical education with a strong focus on ethics, clinical skills, and community health initiatives.

About the Hospital

The college hospital operates with 650 beds and covers multiple specialties such as Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, and more.

Students gain active clinical exposure through services like ICU, NICU, ICCU, emergency care, blood bank, advanced laboratories, and fully equipped operation theatres. The hospital serves both urban and rural populations, giving students wide-ranging hands-on training.
