About the College
Kanyakumari Medical Mission Research Centre (KMMC) began operations in 2024 in Muttom, Kanyakumari District. The DMI Foundation manages the institution, and it affiliates with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. Spread across 50 acres, the campus includes digital classrooms, advanced labs, and dedicated research centers. KMMC focuses on training the next generation of doctors through an academic model that integrates teaching, research, and social service. About the Hospital
KMMC includes a 500-bed multi super specialty teaching hospital, which houses 150 ICU beds. The hospital offers services in departments such as general medicine, cardiology, orthopedics, neurology, nephrology, oncology, pediatrics, and urology. Students benefit from hands-on training through access to diagnostic labs, modular operation theatres, trauma care units, and 24/7 emergency services. The hospital ensures that students build strong clinical skills by managing high-volume and varied patient cases under supervision.
