The Jakir Hossain Educational and Charitable Trust founded the college to improve access to quality medical education in the region. About the Hospital
The attached teaching hospital provides multi-specialty healthcare to nearby communities and acts as the main training site for students. The hospital also runs a 24×7 emergency unit, ICUs, operation theatres, imaging services, and diagnostic labs.
