About the College
Tripura Santiniketan Medical College & Hospital operates in Ranirkhamar, near Agartala in West Tripura. The college launched its MBBS program in 2024 under a public–private partnership with the state government. It affiliates with Tripura University and holds approval from the National Medical Commission. Departments include General Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Psychiatry, Dermatology, ENT, ICU, and Emergency Medicine.
The hospital receives steady patient footfall, supported by inclusive charity policies. OPD consultations cost only ₹10, and in-house medicines are available at discounts of up to 65%. Students rotate across all departments under faculty supervision. Plans are in motion to expand the hospital to 650 beds within a year. Long-term development includes a 1,100-bed facility with super-specialty services.

Seats in College
Tripura Santiniketan Medical College received approval for 150 MBBS seats in its first academic session (2024–25). Admission is based on NEET UG scores. Seat allocation follows counseling guidelines with an equal split: 75 seats for the All-India quota and 75 for the state quota. The Directorate of Medical Education handles the selection process.
