All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rajkot began its journey in 2020 as part of the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana. The institute functions under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Located in Rajkot, Gujarat, AIIMS Rajkot stands on a 201-acre rural campus. The first MBBS batch commenced on December 21, 2020. The institute holds recognition from the National Medical Commission as an Institute of National Importance. About the Hospital
AIIMS Rajkot is building a modern, integrated hospital to serve as its teaching and service backbone. An OPD block currently operates while the main hospital remains under construction. The hospital plans to offer comprehensive care across specialties with a focus on patient-centered services. Hostel accommodations and support infrastructure are also coming up in phases. Once complete, the hospital will provide advanced diagnostic and therapeutic facilities. AIIMS Rajkot envisions narrowing the healthcare gap in western India by providing equitable access and tertiary medical care of high quality.

Seats in College
