GMERS Medical College, Navsari, began its journey in 2022 under the Gujarat Medical Education and Research Society (GMERS). Located in Navsari district, this government-society institution operates under the affiliation of Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat. The National Medical Commission (NMC) has granted full recognition to the college.
From its first MBBS batch in 2022–23, the college has focused on both academic strength and hands-on training. About the Hospital
Mahatma Gandhi General Hospital, Navsari, functions as the teaching hospital for the college. Since its establishment in 1964, the hospital has provided essential healthcare services to the region. The hospital operates 24/7 with emergency care, OPD, IPD, and modern diagnostic labs. Students receive constant exposure to a wide range of medical conditions. Seats in College
GMERS Medical College, Navsari, offers 100 MBBS seats each year. Admission takes place through the NEET UG examination. Of these seats, 15% fall under the All India Quota, while 85% belong to the Gujarat State Quota. The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMEC) handles all counseling and allotment processes.
