Shri M. P. Shah Medical College in Jamnagar stands among the most respected government medical institutions in Gujarat. Established in 1954, the college began with just 60 MBBS seats. About the Hospital

On a daily basis, the hospital handles 3,000 to 3,500 OPD patients and admits 250 to 300 new indoor cases. Because of this enormous clinical load, students receive unparalleled exposure to a wide spectrum of cases. Moreover, the hospital offers round-the-clock emergency services, which allows students to train in real-world, high-pressure environments.

Seats in College
Shri M. P. Shah Medical College admits 250 students annually into its MBBS program. The admission process relies on NEET UG merit. Among these seats, 85% are filled through the Gujarat State Quota, and 15% are reserved under the All India Quota.
