Day 1: The 120-Day “War Map” – Setting Your Targets
Stop counting days; start making the days count.
The countdown has officially begun. With 120 days left for NEET 2026, the “someday” you’ve been talking about has become “today.” This isn’t just another study session; it is the start of a strategic campaign. In 120 days, you will either be walking into that exam hall with the confidence of a future doctor or the anxiety of someone who left it too late.
Today, we build your War Map.
- Calculating Your “Safe Score”
In the current competitive landscape of NEET, “just passing” isn’t the goal—getting a seat is.
- The 650+ Benchmark: To secure a seat in a reputable Government Medical College (GMC) under the General category, 650 is the new 600.
- The Breakdown: * Biology: 340 (Non-negotiable)
- Chemistry: 160
- Physics: 150+
- Your Personal Goal: Look at your last mock test. If you are at 450, your war map needs to bridge a 200-point gap. That’s roughly 50 more correct questions.
- The Reality Check: The Traffic Light Analysis
You cannot fix what you don’t measure. Take your syllabus copy right now and mark every chapter using the Traffic Light Method:
- 🟢 Green: You can solve 90% of the PYQs (Previous Year Questions) without looking at the notes. (Focus: Maintenance).
- 🟡 Yellow: You understand the concepts but get stuck in calculations or forget formulas. (Focus: Intense practice).
- 🔴 Red: You haven’t touched it, or it feels like Greek. (Focus: Concept building in the next 30 days).
- Setting Up the 4-Month Calendar
Your 120 days are divided into three distinct seasons. If you try to do everything at once, you will burn out by Day 60.
| Phase | Timeframe | Primary Mission |
| Phase 1: The Consolidation | Days 1–45 | Finish the ‘Red’ chapters and move ‘Yellow’ to ‘Green’. |
| Phase 2: The Revision | Days 46–90 | Second round of NCERT reading and Chapter-wise Mock Tests. |
| Phase 3: The Simulation | Days 91–120 | One Full-Length Mock Test every second day + Mistake Analysis. |
