Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar Government Medical College (YSPGMC), located in Nahan, Himachal Pradesh, began its academic journey in 2016. The state named this college after its first Chief Minister to honor his legacy in public welfare. Affiliated with Atal Medical and Research University, Mandi, the college holds approval from the National Medical Commission. YSPGMC offers MBBS, General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), and MD in Community Medicine. The 22.62-acre campus includes modern classrooms, laboratories, and hostels that support a strong academic atmosphere. About the Hospital

Government Medical Hospital, Nahan, works as the teaching hospital for YSPGMC. This 500-bed facility delivers patient care across multiple departments and clinical specialties. Students gain practical exposure through services like trauma care, emergency units, diagnostic labs, and specialty clinics. Facilities include X-rays, mammography, MRI, CT scans, and ultrasonography. Additionally, the hospital operates a 24×7 blood bank and eye bank, extending full-time healthcare support to the region. Seats in College

YSPGMC Nahan admits 120 MBBS students every year through NEET-UG counseling. The GNM program includes 30 seats, and the college has recently introduced 3 seats in MD (Community Medicine). This course range ensures that both undergraduate and postgraduate students benefit from the same academic infrastructure and clinical training system.

For the MD (Community Medicine) course, the college charges around ₹72,000 in total. PG students also pay about ₹68,000 for hostel accommodation during their 3-year stay.
