Gajra Raja Medical College (GRMC) Gwalior started in 1946 and has grown into one of the leading medical institutions in Madhya Pradesh. It operates under the G.R. Medical College Society and functions with guidance from the Department of Medical Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh. The college holds affiliation with Jiwaji University Gwalior and Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University Jabalpur. Recognition from the National Medical Commission (NMC) ensures its academic quality. About the Hospital
GRMC connects closely with the Jaya Arogya Group of Hospitals, which has served patients since 1893. This hospital group has 2,190 beds and modern medical infrastructure for clinical training. It provides services in outpatient and inpatient departments and offers 24×7 emergency care. Kamla Raja Hospital for Women and Children, established in 1952 and inaugurated by Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, strengthens specialized healthcare for women and children. Seats in College
GRMC admits 200 MBBS students each year. It offers 178 postgraduate MD/MS seats across clinical and non-clinical specialties. Super-specialty courses include 17 seats for DM/M.Ch. programs. Diploma courses in multiple disciplines further expand opportunities for medical education and skill development. These programs ensure comprehensive training at undergraduate, postgraduate, and super-specialty levels.
